Directions to the track are given below, and a Word document version can be downloaded. This also contains a list of local hotels and guest houses, as well as typical arrangements for larger weekend race meetings (this may vary depending on the event)
The track's postcode is GL7 6BA - if you use this for directions make sure you use the A433 to get to the airfield's north entrance; it is possible you will be directed to the other side (A429) where the main entrance cannot be used for Model Car Club access.
Important Note for Caravans & Motorhomes – there are some low / narrow bridges near to the airfield - see below for details.
Access to the airfield is via an automatic gate; Club members can buy a swipe card. For larger meetings the gate will normally be open, but if not, use the intercom, say you are going to the Model Car Track and the tower will open it for you. During the winter the tower is open from 9am to 5pm, if you arrive and cannot contact the tower please phone Doug's mobile (07739556597)
Once on Kemble Airfield – please note 20 MPH speed limit.
From the gate go straight on, keeping the main airfield fence on your right. Follow the main road around to the track.
Please do NOT park on a road, pull off onto the grass.
The campsite is before the track on the left, please ask a Cotswold member if unsure.
